The Hug from Behind in the Dark!

Donald was walking down his street. He felt ghostly arms give him a tight hug.  Then he felt damp and shivered from a cold chill that ran through his body.  Howling and yowling a black cat jumped in front of Donald giving him a fright.

The air cleared and the moon shined brightly down on Donald.   He felt creepy, like something was lurking behind him.  It took a while to get the courage, but Donald turned to see if anyone was there.

Quiet as a mouse was his shadow just as it should be.  Suddenly it grew large; its hair went out of control. The shadow raised its arms and hands up high.  Loudly it said, “Boo”

Donald ran all the way home.

Do You Understand?

Crossing a deserted street there was two cats.  One was black with brilliant green eyes.  The other was bright green with deep black eyes.

Coming from the other direction was two ladies and a boy.  They were taking a shortcut home from the corner store.  As they saw these cats they slowing stopped walking.  The boy sarcastically said, “Look Mom at these cats.  Aren’t they cute?  I’m going to chase them.”

The boy’s mother told him to stop, but he was already yards away.  The other lady stood back as the mom ran after her child.

As the boy got closer he could see more cats coming to join the two.  He ran into all of them to scare them into a run.  He thought, what fun this is!  His mother didn’t know what to do.  She knew this was not right, but she also feared for her son’s safety.

The lady that stayed back from all of this put up her pointer figure in the air and circled it around.  As she did this, the cats stopped running.  They encircled the boy and his mom, meowing, staring, and waving their tails.  The cats thought that this was fun, scaring this mean boy.  The boy shouted in a nasty tone at the cats, “You can’t get me, you are only a bunch of cats!”

The mother tried to protect her son. She tried to keep her son quiet. She tried to talk soothing to the cats to calm them down. After nothing she did worked she told her son to get down on his knees and hold his head in his lap as she was doing.  Then she started to make motions like she was a cat herself.  Her boy looked at her like she was crazy.  He was still standing.  A cat from the back came forward and looked at the mother with interest.  This cat had tiger markings and pressed up against the mother.  The mother then turned slowly into a cat. She looked up to the lady down the street.

The lady now twirled herself into a tumble weed and rolled down toward the cats.  She rolled right and left as if playing with the cats.  The cats started to play back, including the mother, (who now was a cat). Now the whole street was in confusion, and still the boy just stood there.

Out of nowhere a dead tree rolled into the road. All the cats jumped on this dead tree.  The lady became herself again and twitched her nose as she waved her hand.  Up the dead tree rose into the air and then flew off into the sky.  The lady went over to the boy and asked if he was alright.  He said he was not sure.

The lady told the boy, “Make sure you think about the consequences of your actions before you do anything.”

The boy asked, “Will my Mom be all right?”

The lady responded, “Of course she will.  I hope you like cats now!”  Over to the boy came the mother meowing and crying to the boy to pick her up and pet her.

The lady said, “How quickly life can change.” She then floated off to join the cats on the dead tree.

The boy was left standing in the road with this huge cat that was once his mother.  He said, “I’m sorry.  I will take care of you.”  He picked his mother up and walked home.

It Is All in The Wrist.

At school the teacher told her students to draw a picture that reminded them of Halloween.  Some kids drew witches and others drew vampires.  Still others drew Scooby Doo and others drew an old creepy house with ghosts flying in and out of the windows.

Janice drew something different.  She drew a monster with pink and purple hair.  The monster had long eye lashes and big red lips.  Janice then drew a pet for the monster.  She drew a cute little dog that wore an orange “dress”.

Janice not decided to sneak a snack out of her desk.  It was a giant sugar cookie that was decorated like a pumpkin. She had another cookie just like it and put it on her desk as she was eating the first one.

Wait one minute, Janice thought, where did my cookie go.  As she looked around she saw the hand of the monster that she had drew going back into the picture with the cookie.  Janice grabbed the cookie tried to pull it back.  Then the cute dog grew into a monster dog with hug teeth.  He snapped at Janice.

Janice just had no chose at all. She grabbed her big eraser and erased them both.  Now she could eat her second cookie in peace.

What on earth are you looking at?

The park is always a fun place to be with friends.  Older kids here on the swings and couldn’t help but notice some 8 year olds standing by a tree looking down at the ground.   The older kids got off the swings and went over to look; they saw them too!  The some parents came by to pick up their kids and also went over to the group by the tree.

What did they all see? One pair of feet had long dirty nails, and hair all over. Another pair of feet had short nails on its toes.  The toes were purple and swollen as if they had been pounded.  NO hair could be seen and the skin was whiter than white.

The third pair of feet had long wide solid and white nails.  They were attached to a reptile like foot with scales and open, blisters that were oozing with a green substance.

A police officer drove up and got out of his car.  He walked over and asked everyone to stand back.  He took a long hard look at these feet.  Then he reported it in on his radio.  As he took out his weapon.  It was a small cage.

The police officer as everyone to stand back and put the cage on the ground by the feet.  He then opened its door.

Screeching, growling, a go-lup could be heard as the trees rustled and all three pair of feet disappeared.

Now the police officer turned to the crowd and said, “It works every time!”  Then he crouched by the cage putting in it a piece of cheese that had been in his pocket.  This little tiny, gray mouse. ran into the cage to enjoy her reward.  The policeman closed the cage; went back to his car; he drove off.

Question:  Whose feet were under the tree?

What Didn’t We See?

The wind was blowing, howling; dogs were barking; cats were meowing.  Everyone saw the white sheet moving towards the grocery store’s door.  Everyone stepped back to get out of it’s way, bewildered of what they saw.

As the white sheet entered the store the cans rattled on the shelves.  The boxes danced and the soda pop exploded.  In the meat department the knives flew in the air going all which way.  The crunch, crunch was heard from aisle 6.  Those that had the courage to look saw the sheet appear as if it was facing an entity eating potato chips. The chips were crunched up in the air and then dropped in a pile onto the floor.

As of the entity gained strength from the chips, it started to take form.  As skeleton formed first the head then to its feet. Long hair grew, followed by long dirty nails.  It then walked over to get a coke.

The white sheet followed it.  As the entity drank a coke it saw its reflection in the glass door.  Startled by its reflection, it jumped; spilling its coke all over itself.  Grabbing the white sheet, it cleaned itself off head to toe.

All now that could be seen is the dirty sheet on the floor.  The grocery store’s door opened and out went a gentle breeze that smelt of chips and coke.

No one could be seen leaving the store!!!
